●While beautiful and certainly a loving pet, Hazuki was finding it hard to believe he was truly worthy to have an owner. His first owner had stated clearly and frequently that without and owner Hazuki was nothing and after hearing that enough times the tall brunette began to believe it. Especially when he was returned to the pet shop. The pure ebony cat pet had sat in his holding cell with flattened ears for days afterwards and the young man truly felt longing for the first time in his life.
As it was, he soon belonged to another, a girl child of wealth that just wanted the boy to be a possession and he was poorly taken care of. Usually having to feed himself and other everyday things when the child did not want to have Hazuki in her play room.
Again after a while he was returned to the pet shop. And while Hazuki didn’t feel completely hurt this time he didn’t understand why he wasn’t wanted. He spent a long time in the pet shop then and soon knew not to expect anything from owners. Part of him still wanted a human to just want the raven around but no longer hoped.
He was bought for a third time as he matured passed his teens and this time by a old lady with a kind heart. She took care of him like most would take care of their children than a pet. It was something Hazuki wasn’t used to, to feel almost equal in that cosy home with a woman who’d smile softly at him as he dozed by the window. She, unfortunately die just two years later.
